One sentence to describe yourself and where you came from: I am a first generation immigrant from India. My parents grew up in an ashram outside of Agra where most mornings were spent farming as a community. I try to integrate those values into my life here.

Best piece of advice you ever got about cooking: Fresh ingredients, don't cook when you're hungry
