Blanca Stacey Villalobos: queer bruja from the desert, daughter of mexican immigrants, Blanca, Stacey, two white names, twins, great grand daughter of an adelita, coyotes, hummingbirds, eleven wolves, dreams, the night sky, her mother loves elvis/the beatles/jackson 5 & house music, her sister is her soulmate, and she laughs. a lot.

One sentence to describe yourself and where you came from: I laugh a whole lot, pretty loudly and am unapologetic about it...I used to be deathly afraid of the ocean until one summer when I ran stark naked into her waves while ghostly jellies floated about the shore.

What will you be presenting on? Mariscos/Seafood from Mexico.

Best piece of advice you ever got about cooking: Make sure you make enough to share and everything tastes better with limón y salsa.

If you could only eat one meal forever, it would be: En la playa comiendo huachinango frito con tortillas recien hechas, arroz, vegetales, salsa y  limón.

Favorite food: Chiles en nogado, guavas, cafe de olla, any fresh sushi rolls with spicy tuna & ANYTHING made from yaca.

Additional comments: I dislike getting coffee to go, I much rather make it at home and sip it quietly without 'prisa'.
